In 2004, local black leaders in Indianapolis noticed a gap. There was no voice to advocate for the black community at the city and state policy level. Leaders came together as a non-partisan collaboration to serve as this voice and catalyst for changes.
We serve the black community in the Indianapolis and the communities that surround it: individuals and families. Our priority is ensuring voices are heard where it matters most. We do this through voter education, policy advocacy, and community programs.
With the support of over 20 partner organizations, we’re tackling critical issues like police reform, community violence, and public health—with a focus on building a stronger, more equitable future for our community.
